Bruins vs Rangers Stanley Cup Round 2 Schedule

UPDATE: Bruins win series 4 games to 1

Bruins Tuukka Rask and Rangers Henrik Lundqvist will mind the nets in tonights series opener
Tuukka Rask or Henrik Lundqvist may decide round 2 of the Stanley Cup playoffs

Two of the original six will face-off tonight at Boston Garden when the Bruins host the New York Rangers. The last time these teams met in playoff competition was in 1973 (the year of the Watergate scandal). The Bruins hold the all-time playoff series record 6 wins to 3. Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist comes into the series red hot, having shut out the Washington Capitals in the final two games of that series. Bruins net minder Tuukka Rask also had a good series, but some questions remain about his playoff toughness. Another juge factor in the series will be the Bruins health on the defensive line. Dennis Seidenberg, Andrew Ference, and Wade Redden (whom the Bruins got from the Rangers in a late season trade) are all injured and questionable in game 1. Redden has the best chance to play as he did participate for half of the Bruins morning skate. Here’s the complete 7 game schedule as released by the NHL:
